"As a painter, I am always amazed at how easily Kim works with color. There is no room for wimpy builders beige in her portfolio! Soft or bold, Kim's talented use of color is a key element in her designs. Kim brings a wealth of experience and talent to every space that she designs. Working with large or small budgets, her rooms are classic and timeless, reflecting a comfortable, welcoming elegance."

"Kim was the interior designer for our private country club’s renovation. The transformation of our facility was amazing—retaining a traditional feel but with a totally updated look that our members love. Our members now enjoy spaces that are elegant and very tasteful but at the same time, casual and comfortable. Kim’s attention to detail in all aspects was evident as she chose new colors, wallcoverings, flooring, furniture, lighting and accessories. She worked well with our club’s representatives throughout the 24-month project, taking into account our preferences and budget. Thanks to Kim, we now enjoy a physical space that we are proud to show our members and guests and will enjoy for many years to come."

"I have had the pleasure of knowing Kim Lafontaine for nine years and during that time, I've  had the opportunity to experience her exceptional talent across a number of residential and commercial design projects. Kim is an extraordinarily  gifted designer with an impeccable eye for detail and style. What sets her apart, however, is not only her  creativity, but the dedication and professionalism she brings to every  project.  Kim consistently goes above and beyond. She is involved in every step of the design process, paying attention to the smallest details and making certain the final results reflect the vision that she and her client created together. She is hardworking, dependable, passionate about her work and takes great pride in every project she undertakes. She is a true professional, a dedicated designer, and a delight to work with. I highly recommend her."

"My name is Dan Schultz and I live in a community called governors land in Williamsburg, Virginia. I had an extra bathroom upstairs that I’ve been trying to make into Some sort of relaxing spa. Being a Marine aviator I had no idea of style, nor any idea of what a bathroom could really look like. That’s when I met Kim Ficaro. Right from the beginning, she helped me to lay out a concept, the pros and cons and any trade-offs to make this bathroom the best spa around. Not only did she help me with the design concept, but she also directed tile plumbing and construction workman to ensure her design came to life.  All this while securing discounts on all of the materials.  Every person that visits my house now wants to see that bathroom. They all walk away, thinking that I’m a person of vision. I can tell you it was all Kim. She is the best at what she does.  I would never use anyone else, and neither should you."
